Ronan P Berry is a native of Hayestown, Co. Wexford. His poetry is inspired by his upbringing in the ballad singing tradition, the history and folklore of his local area in South Wexford. Ronan works as an English teacher at Colaiste Eamonn Ris in Wexford town.
