Spoken Word Open Mic hosted by Alanna Hammel and Deirdre McGarry.
 
Saturday 21st (7pm) Wexford Bohemian Launch
Issue number 5 of our very own Wexford Bohemian will be launched.  Edited by Alanna Hammel, this is a new writer's special edition.
Tuesday 24th (6pm) Art Exhibition Launch 
Launch of art exhibition from local artists, curated by Ita Grattan.
Tuesday 24th (8pm) Martina Live
The fabulous Martina Byrne will be holding an intimate concert straight after the fireworks to celebrate the official opening of the 2023 Wexford Opera Festival.
Wednesday 25th (7pm) Chess Cup
To celebrate the festival, our Red Books Chess Club will participate in the inaugural Red Books Chess Cup.
Thursday 26th (6pm) Craft Expo Launch
Launch of exhibition of Crafts from the AlwaysBeCrafting Groups.
Thursday 28th (7pm) Photography Expo Launch
Launch of exhibition of photography by Gar Cullen Photography.

A unique blend of art and spoken-word curated by Deirdre McGarry.
Friday 27th (8pm) Rí Rá Comedy Club
Festival Special of our monthly Rí Rá Comedy Club with local and national comedians performing in ringmaster Jamie T Murphy's circus.

Launch of "Down on the Farm" by Gorey poet Chris Black.  Proudly published by Red Books Press.
Saturday 28th (7.30pm) Oiche Samhna
Write your own or read an Irish Ghost story of your choice.  Organised and curated by Aoife Rose O' Brien.
Monday 30th (2pm) Occult Talk
A light hearted but thorough deep dive into the mysterious world of the Occult.
Wednesday 1st (7pm) Chess Club
Regular meeting of the Red Books Chess Club.  New players always welcome.
Thursday 2nd (6pm) History Talk
Double history talk featuring "The Merchants of Wexford" by Declan Reck and "The Irish in Michigan" by Elizabeth Rice and Pat Commins.
Friday 3rd (6.30pm) BOOK LAUNCH 
Launch of 'Sportsman Mick: A Life in Local Sports' by Mick Carty.
Friday 3rd (7.30pm) Grand Auld Opera
Featuring the best of local music, of every genre, with all proceeds raised going to Wexford People Helping People.
Saturday 4th (6pm) BOOK LAUNCH
A double book launch featuring "The Space Between" by Jean Maskell and "Under the Bridge" by Jack Byrne.
Sunday 5th (11-5pm) Annual Wexford Book Fair
The Annual Wexford Book Fair takes place from 11-5pm in Wexford's Talbot Hotel.  Featuring books, antiques and more.
