The 2nd issue of the Wexford Bohemian will be released on the 31st of October. We were overwhelmed with the incredible amount of talent we received for this coming issue and took in nearly 300 individual submissions.
Obviously, we couldn't fit everyone in but we have managed to include the works of 74 Wexford writers, poets, historians, artists and photographers.

Among the many great contributions in issue 2 of the Bohemian will be extracts from two upcoming Wexford books; Eamonn Colfer’s “The Collected Plays” and “All of them, hipsters” by Zeff Ryder. We also have a great piece on the impact of Billy Roches writing by Richard Connelly, poems by Internationally acclaimed Wexford poet Jim McGuire and a history of the Wexford workhouse by DA Gazeley, as well as over forty other wonderful pieces of writing and artwork.
Red Books would like to thank all our contributors, Zeff Ryder for design and Colm at Practical Printers for printing.
The first issue of the Wexford Bohemian sold out in 24 hours. We have a bigger print run and are in the middle of another lockdown but we still expect to sell out issue 2 very quickly. They are already selling strongly on preorder. Once they're gone, they're gone.
We are now taking paid pre-orders for Issue 2 at Red Books. It costs €6 (or €8.90 if you require postage within Ireland). Our paypal link is paypal.me/redbooksire. We can also offer international delivery. (Just message us with details)
You can easily preorder the Bohemian on our new website;
We expect to have copies next Friday. We will be doing a click&collect when they arrive but it will be strictly pick up only. No one will be allowed into the shop as per level 5 restrictions.
