In his 19 years and 187 appearances as a Wexford hurler, Tony Doran successfully went for goal 131 times.But Doran also played against giants from Kilkenny, Tipperary and Cork, and so many other counties, at a time when the game of hurling tested the wits and the courage of every man on the field.
