Thaddeus O' Connor is a troubled man who has lost his position as a lecturer of philosophy in a Galway University. He decides to wait away from his old life and incarcerate himself in a Georgian Manor House (Wolfe Lodge) in Bannow, County Wexford. He secures the services of a psychoanalyst, Fiona Murphy. This beautiful but enigmatic woman tries to help him recover from his traumatic past which has driven him to his present impasse.
